When we stop and think about it, the best brands out there engage us, move us, and have a real impact on our lives. Think about Coca-Cola® or Target®. They connect with us by emotionally tapping into something that motivates us to buy from their company. Can you think of a major company out there that doesn't have a clearly defined brand? Take a cue from their playbook and do the same for your business.
There it is. PROCRASTINATION rears its ugly head again.
I've definitely been a victim of this monster, and I don't think I've ever met anyone that hasn't struggled with it in one form or another.
The fact is that putting something off that needs to be done makes us feel lousy. And something that makes us feel so bad about ourselves, and keeps us from getting things done needs to be dealt with...now, not later!
Let's face it, as entrepreneurs, we all have to do some things that we really don't want to do. It's part of our job description. We have to be willing to do whatever it takes to become the successes we know we can be. We wear many hats, and I have yet to meet an entrepreneur who loves every single thing on his or her to do list. (Click here to read more...)
The Age of the Free Offer

What are you currently offering your potential clients for free? Do you have at least one irresistible offer that will make your ideal clients feel like they need to sign up (i.e. opt in) right away so that they can access this great information?
If not, then you are doing your business a great disservice. Giving at least one killer offer to your potential clients for free is the surest (and easiest) way to turn them into actual paying clients.
Your irresistible free offer should be just that... something your ideal clients can't NOT sign up for. You need to be sure that you've hit their “hot button” issue: something for free that solves a problem for them and alleviates their pain.
